Durbarmarg Club Fire Contained; Safety Audits Demanded

A major fire erupted this morning at “Blackout Dance and Restaurant” on the upper floor of Hotel Woodland in Durbarmarg. While fire engines from the Kathmandu District Police Range contained the blaze without casualties, social activists are now calling for stricter fire safety audits of Kathmandu’s nightlife venues.
