The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has officially pivoted its 2026 strategy toward Southeast Asia to reduce over-reliance on Indian and Chinese markets. With ASEAN visitors having grown by 8.4% in 2025, the NTB is launching targeted sales missions in Thailand and Malaysia, aiming to reach a target of 125,000 visitors from the region by the end of the year.
