Petroleum Imports via Birgunj Surge to Rs 90.06 Billion

Industrial activity in the central corridor has seen a boost as petroleum imports through the Birgunj Integrated Check Post (ICP) reached Rs 90.06 billion in the second quarter. This 15% increase in fuel import volume is being cited by analysts as a sign of gradually recovering industrial logistics and transportation demand ahead of the election cycle.
