Development Banks and Manufacturing Face Steepest Losses

The Development Bank Index suffered the heaviest blow today, falling by 2.23%, followed closely by the Manufacturing and Processing sector, which dropped 2.12%. This sell-off occurred despite several development banks, including Mahalaxmi and Lumbini Bikas Bank, publishing strong second-quarter net profit reports earlier this morning.
