Health Minister Calls for Three-Tier Investment in Health Insurance

Health Minister Dr. Sudha Gautam, during a provincial inspection in Baglung, emphasized that Nepal’s health insurance scheme must be “organized” to ensure accessibility for all citizens. She urged the local, provincial, and federal governments to jointly invest in the scheme to prevent the current medicine shortage and human resource gaps in government hospitals.
