Nepal-China Trade Talks Target “Green Channel” for Exports

Following high-level commerce talks in Lhasa, Nepal and China have agreed to implement a “Green Channel” specifically for Nepali silage and agricultural exports. Both sides also committed to speeding up the construction of the Tokha-Chhahare Tunnel and simplifying border passes at the Rasuwagadhi and Tatopani points to reduce the time and cost of bilateral trade.
